Compliance

The Bijou is a digital storefront selling short original love stories presented as a repertory cinema's screenings: poster art, story text and programme notes. Every title, poster and note shown is a complete work of fiction, written and illustrated with the help of AI. No item depicts a real film, cinema, performer, person or identifiable likeness.

AI disclosure

Stories and cover art are generated with AI tools and edited by our team. No image depicts a real, identifiable person; no story describes a real person or event.

Audience

Our catalogue is written for an adult readership. The stories are romantic and may reference adult relationships, but nothing on the site is sexually explicit. Accounts and purchases are limited to people aged 18 and over.

Advertising

We advertise on social platforms and measure the results with their pixels, as described in our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy. Our advertisements show the catalogue items themselves.

Intellectual property

If you believe an item infringes your rights, send a notice through the contact page with the item URL, a description of the work you own and your contact details. We review notices within five working days and remove infringing material.

Sales

Digital items are delivered to your account immediately after checkout. See the Refund Policy and Terms of Service for the rules that apply.
